Booty Torrents

Now that the site is by invite only, I want to start focusing on the quality of the site. As mentioned before, I feel (as well as other members) that a lot of the content posted, has forgotten what the "B" in BT stands for. Where the hell is the booty?

I think it's important to note that BT is a niche site, which means we have a specialty. Our specialty is booty. It's in the name. It's what we do. While I understand the need for variety and other genres, our focus needs to stay true to the site. People can go anywhere for all that other stuff, but I want them to think only of BT when they think of luscious women with BIG BOOTIES.

With that said, we'll be trying a few things in the upcoming weeks. I ask that Uploaders focus on the name of the site. BOOTY Torrents.

Well, we're back after a minor hiccup in the road. I was trying to fix some options (namely the invite system) at the same time the host was doing some Mysql stuff and managed to mess up the site for a minute. Then because it was on the weekend, junior staff had no idea how to fix. My apologies to all.

As you probably already know, the invite system is in place. This is a great step for BT. I'll be trimming a lot of the dead weight over the next few weeks. So you've been warned. If your ratio is shit, better get it on the right track and VERY soon. Leechers will not be tolerated anymore.

And I've come to find out that a member was soliciting our Uploaders to go to his site. This really pissed me off. Especially since this user offered to buy BT, and offered to host it for free, but I didn't trust him. Something didn't sit right and he's showing his true colours now. He even bought www.bigbootytorrents.com (yes, I'm calling his ass out)and he's using the same software I told him I would be using for BT. Anyways, I hope that our Uploaders understand they are truly valued around here, and I hope no one will make the leap. SMH!!!

Lastly, please remember if you're making a donation or upload credit, please include your username. It just saves time and energy. Put it at the end of your address, or in quotes somewhere in the transaction.

As of Feb 24th @ 8:00 am EST, all accounts have been approved. Please try logging in before sending emails. As well, please remember to delete all cookies and temporary internet files. You may even need to change your browser as some users have experienced this problem.

Effective Feb 27th, all duplicate account IP addresses will be banned. It's already been posted that having another account to avoid maintenance of a good ratio is prohibited but it's still occurring. This currently affects over 500 accounts.

The Upload Credit option is available to all users. It is available by clicking on the Donation Methods on the left side of the main page. Please remember to include your username in the PayPal transactin. There are a few outstanding donations that haven't been credited due to no username and no response to my emails.

If you are having a problem seeding or with your ratio, the forums is the place to post it. Not here. You will not get a response here as most don't read the comments section. Please post on the forums your problem, and someone will address it as soon as possible. Alternately, you may PM the Mods or Admin.

The invite system looks like it's a go. Most of the votes for "No" came from those with ratios below 0.5. Stay tuned for further details.

Just a few site updates. Hopefully this cuts down the number of emails sent for things already covered.

1. Warnings are being sent to users who have poor ratios. I don't think people understand how it works. You get a warning when your ratio has been under 0.5 for 10 days or more. It's JUST a warning to let you know you've been rocking a low ratio for 10 days. This is the time to take heed. Check your settings, make sure you're seeding, etc. The warning is meant to give you a heads up. If you have a problem, this would be the time to mention it.

After the warning is sent, you have 10 days to increase your ratio. If you ignore the warning, your account is disabled. Please stop asking why. You got a PM when you were warned. There is no need to pretend you didn't know about your ratio. And stop trying to recover your password. That's not the issue. The issue is not being responsible enough to maintain a decent ratio.

2. Can we get all users to update their profile to include their client and the version number. (ie. uTorrent 1.8.5) This is extremely helpful when we are trying to troubleshoot with you. It saves time.

3. In order to ensure the site is the best it can be, we rely on all users to do their part. Uploaders to upload quality content, users to seed back content, and everyone using approved clients, being connected, and DHT disabled.

Lately, there have been times when torrents are uploaded without screens, or not being seeded. These things need to be reported. Our site staff is a small group and can only take action on things we see. Therefore, if you see a torrent unseeded, or an Uploader not using screen caps, please report and it will be taken care of. When you make a report, it's completely anonymous, so don't be concerned about any backlash. You'll be doing your part to maintain the quality of BT.

4. Before sending emails and PM's about issues, you are having, please make sure you've read the forum and the FAQ's. They are constantly being updated to reflect issues that have occurred and how to fix them. It gets tedious replying to the same questions that have already been asked. So please, check your sources before sending emails or PM'ing.

5. If donating to the site or using the option of an Upload Credit, please make sure your username is on the donation. This is especially important when you're using a different email address on the site.

6. Duplicate accounts are still being found. If this continues, IP addresses will be banned, and users will not be reinstated.

Thanks to the 206 users who decided that getting disabled means sign up for another account. Both of your accounts have been disabled. If you create another account, your IP will be added to the banned IP list.

Please do not create additional accounts because your ratio is bad.
