Shocked to see From Paris With Love did so poorly at the box office ($8.1 million). Even finishing 3rd behind Dear John ($30.4 million, shocking) and Avatar ($22.8 million).

Very disappointed. I had not read a comic in years but when I heard Hulk was going to take on the world of Marvel, I read the whole story of World War hulk. The movie made me upset because they had Hulk fighting Beta Ray Bill and not Silver Surfer like in the comic and my recently purchased statue:

I can't see how yall fellas can handle those sad movies...I'm telling you after I saw Rosewood when I was in my early teens I was like 'Man fuck this shit!' and stopped lol.

I just finished Percy Jacksons And The Lightning Thief, I'm a Greek Myth nut so I loved it, the action was pretty sweet. The main character gets a C+ in the acting category...special effects were bad ass too. And Rossario Dawson...god damn. My babe!!

Next on my list is Avatar, I'm watching that one online. Not wanting to spend the cash to see it in theaters.

Avatar, just finished it. Honestly...I liked it but I couldn't help but get a Smurfs meets Pocohantas meets Star Wars in a way...but it was still good. I'd definitely purchase it on DVD. It's long as hell so watching it at least once every few months would be my thing.

Took the boys to see Diary of a Wimpy Kid (stop looking at me like that). I got a few laughs. Surprised too see a theater full of folks for that one.

Then saw The 4th Kind, which scared the hell out of them. Good enough flick to watch.

I want to see Diary Of A Wimpy Kid, I don't know why but the part where that lil kid is talking about his mole has a hair in it cracks me the fuck up.

I also watched Alice In Wonderland, I give it a 8/10. The ending wasn't as good as it could have been...to me it felt slightly rushed. Maybe someone has a different opinion about it?

just seen some movie called "Perfume". don't know when it came out, but i borrowed the dvd. i liked it. it was about some sociopath with a strong sense of smell in paris in the 1700's. he was killing chics in order to capture their scent so he could make the best possible. the movie is fukt up from start to finish and the ending is ridiculous. the way the movie ends is either gonna piss u off or give u a good surprise.

also finally seen "Precious". as fukt up as some parts of that movie are, i thought the shit was kinda funny.

From Paris With Love - Good action. Travolta had me buggin'
Brooklyn's Finest - Fucking awesome. Great cast, even better story.
Cop Out - Didn't have high expectations, so I can't complain.
Green Zone - Pretty damn good.
She's Out of My League - Funny movie. Makes all ugly people think they stand a chance.

Saw Twilight: Eclipse last night. *sigh* I better have enough collateral with my girl for at least a year for watching that mess.

Avatar: The Last Airbender is up next. Still haven't seen A-Team. Looking forward to The Expendables later this summer.

Man I would have rather watched Twilight than the failness that was The Last Airbender. Talk about a disappointing movie...I had to force myself to sit and not leave the theater twenty minutes in. The actors protraying Aang, Sokka and Katara(and the Princess) were fucking horrible. Jesus...just ugh.

And they failed at getting the personality of Aang...even fucked up the pronunciation of the names.

A-Team was funny and action packed. I will probably see it again. Too bad it isn't at the IMax.

The characters are pretty good. Murdock was hilarious(I think he was that dude from district 9). Rampage did very well. The storyline wasn't deep, but the hellafied action more than made up for it.

I give it a 8.5/10 Definitely a must see.

Saw Avatar: The Last Airbender (I don't care that they shortened the title) with the kids and my brother. The boys loved it. My brother harped about how they jacked up the movie, which I expected.

The acting was a bit subpar, kind of unbelievably unbelievable, if that makes sense. Not a bad movie overall, methinks. But I haven't watched the series at all.
