I figured I would ask this here. What is the best music software to arrange all info about a track including album artwork? IS iTunes the only viable resource?
Thanks in advance.....

Itunes has the best user interface but realplayer does pretty good with organization too.

iTunes is shit. It's just a spreadsheet.
Use Rhythmbox or Amarok. But then, I'm going to tell you to go open source. Best of it all, it's free.

Better yet, go to sourceforge.net. They can answer your question with even more detail and accuracy.

I use Foobar because it's free, open source and super light on resources.
The complete opposite of Itunes

I used to use MediaMonkey, but it's kinda slow, cuz it's like a full music library. But I use MP3Tag, and it's hella fast, and easy to use. http://www.mp3tag.de/en/

No Winamp Fans in here? Winamp 5 has all of the features mentioned in here.
If you're looking for something lightweight, I'd have to say Foobar

^^^Winamp was the shit until they let AOL muscle in. Especially with that Internet TV and Radio. But once AOL came onboard, it wasn't the same. All of a sudden the program seemed to become a little bit more intrusive.

I've never really had a problem with it, probably because I used it strictly as a music player.
I just installed Ubuntu (linux) on the laptop and I have to say Rhythmbox is a nice alternative too.

I'm a huge advocate for iTunes, and I can't stand Mac-related stuff. I find it to be the best program for organizing and burning my media.

I concur for winamp. Just get basic and don't install that other crap during install. It's still very light weight and manageable... if that makes any sense. It's also easy to edit mp3 tags in windows media player. Some of you are going overboard with the suggestions. Chelle isn't actually trying to edit the musical content, just fix/add info tags and artwork.
Chelle, if you need any album artwork, Amazon.com will never fail you. That's where I go to get mine for all of the mp3's that I download in the wild. Stay away from itunes unless you have an ipod. It just complicates shit.

Meh, I find it easier to just do a google image search. Just type in the artist and the album name.

Google usually leads you to amazon. That's why I just go straight there. Also on amazon, when you put an artist name in, all of their albums come up. So that gives you a chance to everything they have, listen to 1 min samples and make sure you get everything in their catalog.

Winamp gets my vote. I have an iPod Touch but I hate iTunes.

Ok, I guess I should also say, I need it to look sexy. Yes, in this instance, I'm being a typical girl and needing my player to look sexy. Does this change the recommendations?

For me it does. Because there's nothing sexy at all about Foobar. Effective as hell, yes. Sexy, no. It does have different skins, but I've never even looked at them before. Winamp is probably what you're looking for. They got all that shit
